An experienced employment solicitor is sought to handle a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious work.
You will mainly be acting for employers; drafting contracts/settlement agreements/policies; corporate support work; Tribunal representation; advising on helpline type enquiries from clients; restructuring and outsourcing advice amongst other issues.
You will also be expected to help plan and deliver training to clients and other third parties.
The team works for a wide range of sectors predominantly covering commercial, education, and charities.
An employment lawyer with 4pqe+, you will have good academics including a 2.1 degree or the equivalent.
A self-starter with common sense and initiative, you will have the ability to work as a team-player.
Ideally you will have previous experience of providing employment law support and input to corporate transactions, including undertaking due diligence and drafting the employment provisions in transactional documents as well as the ability to lead on Employment Tribunal matters and advocacy experience.
While a client following is not essential, it would show evidence of your BD skills.
