To safeguard vulnerable children and young people
To be responsible for the day to day management of the Prevention and Support family workers caseloads, working as and with the lead professionals and multi-agency teams to achieve improved outcomes for children, young people and families.
To ensure there is high quality, evidence based practice in place to support children, young people and families.
To be the case holding lead professional for highly complex family situations
To provide consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working to colleagues within Children’s Services
To promote children living with their family where appropriate and safe to do so
To comply with and promote legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures
To provide induction, regular supervision, appraisals and reflective practice to workers as required.
