Trainee Consultant for Recruitment Company - City of London
Our client is specialist recruitment consultancy for PR and corporate communications. They have really exciting growth plans and are offering a role to work as a Trainee Consultant. Sourcing candidates (including headhunting) and managing them, sourcing clients and managing them. There is lots of internal and external training to get you up to speed. In order to be able to be promoted to Consultant, you will be adept at all parts of the role.
Developing strategy and plans for your desk with relevant milestones
Checking candidate availability
Advertising (producing copy for website, uploading adverts onto jobsites in absence of recruitment assistant, copy for universities)
Proactive candidate sourcing including from headhunting, database, referrals and networking
Working thoroughly through the resourcing checklist according to the gold/silver/bronze status of the role
Using internet and websites to name gather for candidates to approach
Candidate response handling (from advertising, referrals etc)
Candidate CV quality checks
Arranging candidate registration interviews
Gaining exclusivity with candidates
Requesting and taking references on candidates
Generating new business leads
Amending CVs into house style and reformatting where necessary
Updating Company spreadsheets (Terms of Business rates/New business ring-ins)
Creating and sending out interview confirmations
Writing up interview notes into statements
Writing up consultants notes on database
You must have a degree level qualification.
